Lead time

Commission agreement must be signed before work can commence.

Lead time is 4 weeks from signing the commission agreement, unless negotiated with client.

Lead time can be affected by :

Delay in paying deposit

Receipt of fabrics from client

Delay on signing commission agreement

Design

Client will supply reference images for bespoke commissions.

A technical drawing will be supplied by LLC to show what the final garment will look like.

Upon signing the commission agreement, the client agrees to the design provided and accepts the design is a fair representation of the garment commissioned.

Costume designs will be followed accurately depending on level of detail in image provided. Garments will be interpreted as closely as possible to the design provided.

Paper Patterns used by the LLC team will be retained and potentially used on further projects.  Copies of paper patterns can be purchased on request.

 

Deposit and Payment

A %50 deposit will be paid by the client before work can commence. Deposit is payable by bank transfer via invoice.

Final payment is by bank transfer or debit / credit card.

Final payment must be made before clients can remove agreements from the LLC studio.

Prices

All prices are dependent on complexity of the garments.

Prices cannot be confirmed until designs and number of units are confirmed.

Prices can be negotiated to suit client budget.

Full balance on collection is the total cost of the garment agreed to.  

Any additions, alterations, changes to design lines will be charged for, unless they do not match signed off design.  

 

Fabrics

All fabrics are sourced and supplied by the client, unless otherwise stated.

Fabrics supplied by LLC are included in the total price, unless otherwise stated.

Fabric samples are to be mutually agreed upon in the consultation appointment.  

Colours of fabrics viewed online or digitally can vary due to screen quality and cannot be guaranteed to match final fabric shade exactly.

Specialised fastenings, trims, embellishments are to be supplied by the client. 

Standard incidentals such as fastenings, interfacing and trims, are included in the price unless otherwise stated.

Fittings

To ensure a garment fits well and is constructed correctly, it will be first sewn to a fitting stage.

Garments tried on in a fitting are not the finished article and are a work in progress.

Garments at the fitting stage may have safety pins, unfinished seams, hand sewn on trims, taking stitches, unpressed seams, creased fabrics, chalk marks or removable pen marks.

Collection

All outfits are to be inspected by The Client upon collection.

Client must have a final fitting before taking garment away. Any issues must be raised in the final fitting.

Client must sign a collection receipt as proof they have collected.   

Upon signing the collection receipt, the client agrees the commission has been done correctly and to their standard.  

Upon signing the collection receipt, the client forfeits the right to any amendments, alterations, changes to garments, that are included in the total price.
