Our Company

We offer a bespoke garment making service.  All our creations are made with the same attention to detail so you can be assured of a high quality garment.

We specialise in womenswear but are not limited to the female form.  With techniques learned from costume houses, we can create garments for any body type.

Established in 2014, LLC has been producing clothing for clients in the UK and Europe.

All our garments are handmade in Birmingham using materials sourced in the UK.  Our aim is to be a zero waste company and we believe in fair wages using local resources.

Our zero waste policy is to only purchase the material required for each garment.  To only produce to order and to ensure we do not become “fast fashion” where excess stock are sent to landfill or incinerated.

We have a pool of talented, freelance local artists, designers, models and garment makers who we can employ for larger projects.  Quality throughout is guaranteed. Each garment is inspected by myself and will only be delivered to the client once approved.

I label myself as a clothing maker because I believe the lines between costume and fashion are blurred. I aim to make alternative, extravagant clothing using costume techniques.  This makes them hard wearing, ensuring longevity and value for money.

While studying costume construction at The Arts University, Bournemouth I learned advanced sewing techniques from industry professionals who had worked in The West End and for couture houses.

After graduating with honours I was contracted as costume assistant by stage and screen companies in the UK and Europe.

Established in 2014, LLC has enabled me to work freelance with a number of theatres and production companies across the UK.  I have also been creating garments for a range of clients from my studio in Birmingham.
